Natasha Manning is a 2014-2015 Articling Student at NLS. She graduated from Osgoode Hall Law School in 2014. She completed an Honours Bachelor of Social Sciences with a Major in Public Administration and a Major in Criminology at the University of Ottawa. As an undergraduate student she volunteered with the Children's Aid Society of Ottawa and spent a summer working for Service Canada. These experiences contributed to her interest in both law and working with the community.
After Natasha's first year of law school, she completed an International Legal Project in Freetown, Sierra Leone conducting research on the juvenile justice system. Her interest in community lawyering flourished in law school where she participated in numerous Pro Bono Students Canada placements. She spent a summer working in the Housing Division at Parkdale Community Legal Services, and she also completed the Intensive Program in Poverty Law at PCLS. Natasha has represented clients at the Landlord and Tenant Board and the Social Benefits Tribunal. In addition, she very much enjoys assisting clients with immigration matters.
