Donations

Neighbourhood Legal Services ("NLS") is a non-profit organization and registered charity (CRA #118887090RR0001). We receive our core funding from Legal Aid Ontario. However funding does not always keep pace with the complexity of and demand for legal services in our community.

To keep meeting these demands, NLS accepts and greatly appreciates your donations. We are able to issue tax receipts for donations. Funds raised assist us in enhancing and expanding our services through the use of articling students, social workers and strategic administrative support.  They also help us assist the community in other ways including test case litigation and organizing. Donating to us is a great way of showing your support for the work we do in our community. Please see the options for making a donation online below.

Neighbourhood Legal Services receives its core funding from Legal Aid Ontario. We increasingly rely on community support to protect and advance the rights of our neighbours who, more than ever, face devastating legal consequences such as eviction to homelessness, income support cut-off, and deportation.

Donate today to make justice accessible to everyone in our community. Please note that these donation links open a secure donation site which will ask for some personal and financial information.

If you wish to make a donation in another way, please contact our Executive Director Jennifer Stone at 416-861-0677 ext. 26 for assistance.
