Natasha Manning is our Senior Staff Lawyer (Immigration), Health Justice Program Lawyer, and Intake Team Manager. Natasha received her Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from Osgoode Hall Law School, where she gained extensive clinical experience through the Parkdale Community Legal Clinic. During her undergraduate studies in Criminology and Public Administration, Natasha worked for Service Canada and the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA). She also volunteered with the Children's Aid Society of Ottawa. These experiences informed her perspective on migration issues and immigration law. Her interest in community lawyering flourished in law school where she participated in numerous Pro Bono Students Canada placements. Natasha articled at Neighbourhood Legal Services in Toronto. She has spent most of her career working within the community legal clinic system in Toronto serving some of the most vulnerable and diverse communities in the city. She has legal experience in most areas of clinic practice, but is happy to focus on Immigration Law and management duties at NLS. Natasha’s role also includes the supervision of students as well as public legal education, and she is a Co-Chair of the Inter Clinic Immigration Working Group (ICIWG).
