Nazareth Maynes

Nazareth (Naz) completed her Articles of Clerkship at NLS and now serves our community as a lawyer working in the areas of social assistance and housing law.
Naz obtained her Honours Bachelor of Arts degree from York University (2006) and her Juris Doctor from the University of Ottawa (2013). As a law student, she interned at the Barbra Schlifer Commemorative Clinic's Immigration Department. Naz has been committed to the movement to eradicate violence against women for many years and currently sits on the Board of Directors at Wen-Do Women's Self-defence. She is also one of the social media co-cordinators for the Canadian Associate for Refugee Lawyers. In her spare time, Naz enjoys running and reading fiction. |
